Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a natural and holistic medical system that
includes  acupuncture , Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, tuina, moxabustion,
and  dietary/lifestyle  practices.
The ancient Chinese proposed that every living thing is sustained by a balance of two
opposing forces of energy, called Yin and Yang. Together, they make up the life essence,
or Qi - a type of energy that flows through the body via channels called meridians. When
Yin and Yang are out of balance in the body, this causes a blockage of Qi and a
subsequent illness. Yin and Yang imbalances can be caused by stress, pollution, poor
diet, emotional upsets or infection.
The goal of TCM is to restore balance within your body to promote healing.  TCM looks
at the whole body not just the affected organ/tissues, and addresses patterns of
imbalance. A TCM practitioner considers signs and symptoms from various perspectives
and takes into account your unique pattern or patterns to determine an appropriate
treatment plan for healing conditions and maintaining balance.  This allows for a very
specialized type of treatment based on each individual, rather than viewing disease as a
uniform condition that prescribes the same treatment for everyone.
In East Asia, people have been using natural herbs to treat a wide variety of diseases and
conditions for over 2000 years. The theory behind herbal therapy is that each herb has
innate properties that affect your body in different ways, through the herb’s inherent
actions, temperature, and the organ systems that it affects. In most cases, herbs are
combined into formulas in order to be most effective and customized to your individual
needs. In fact, we often modify the herbs as treatment continues, since the body starts to
shift towards being healthier, and therefore the herbs are modified to meet the changing
needs of the body.
Chinese herbal medicine has a long history with clinically confirmed results to back it up.
Studies have shown Chinese herbal medicines to be successful in treating a range of
disorders including gynecological problems, gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune
disorders, hormonal imbalances, cancer treatment side effects, and allergies. TCM is also
highly effective in treating psychological issues such as stress, insomnia, anxiety and
depression, persistent fatigue and improving memory and focus.
Chinese herbal medicines are mainly plant-based, composed of roots, bark, flowers,
seeds, fruits, leaves, and branches. Some preparations include minerals or animal
products. Herbal medicines are generally gentler than drugs and there are fewer side
effects. Herbs used in our clinic are extracted in granule form which allows taking herbs
as simple as making a cup of tea which is convenient and does not have a strong taste.

Proliferation: The wound is rebuilt with new granulation cells, and a new network of collagen fibers and blood vessels develop. Remodelling: The wound is replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels. The result is effective remodelling of your skin tissue while keeping the overall structure of your skin intact. package pricing available

What is Trigger Point Dry Needling (TPDN)? Dry Needling is defined as the insertion of needles into tender points in the body without the injection of substances. It is a therapeutic technique used by healthcare professionals, typically physiotherapists, to manage and alleviate muscular pain and dysfunction. Trigger Point Dry Needling (TPDN) involves inserting a thin, solid filament needle directly into myofascial trigger points within the muscles, which are tight knots or bands of muscle fibers that can cause pain and restrict movement.

What is the goal of the Trigger Point Dry Needling technique? The goal of TPDN is to release these trigger points by stimulating them, promoting relaxation of the affected muscles, improving blood circulation, and reducing muscle tension.

What happens during Trigger Point Dry Needling? The insertion of the needle can trigger a twitch response in the muscle, which can help in releasing the tension and improving muscle function. TPDN aims to target and resolve specific muscular issues, providing relief from pain, improving range of motion, and enhancing overall muscle function. It is important to note that TPDN should be performed by trained and skilled practitioners to ensure safety and effectiveness.
